What is the Kia Connect App and How Can I Use It?

Welcome to a new level of interaction with your brand new Kia. With the Kia Connect App, you're able to make the most of your new car and some of the exclusive new features it offers. 

What Features Does the Kia Connect App Have?

The Kia Connect App has a range of features that are available to compliment your journey in your new Kia car. 

Battery Status and Control

If you've got a battery powered Kia, you can remotely start, stop and schedule charging, and see the status of your battery at a glance. This is ideal to make the most of off-peak electricity prices, or just to know if your car has reached enough battery to go.

Vehicle Status, Notifications and Remote Commands 

As well as battery status and control, the Kia Connect App allows you to receive notifications about the key elements of your car, such as:

- Status of your door locks  
- Washer fluid levels 
- Battery health 

Did you know you can even lock and unlock your doors remotely? As well as this, you'll also have access to past trips and driving statistics. 

Climate Control

Using the Kia Connect App, you can remotely activate, set and schedule climate control, so you no longer have to scrape your windscreen in the winter and suffer with the heat in the summer! As well as this, reaching set temperatures while your vehicle is charging can help you conserve precious driving ranges (available only with EVs). 

Valet Mode 

Are you handing your keys over to someone else? The Kia Connect App can help relieve some anxiety that may come with this, introducing their valet mode which will allow you to track car location, as well as give you updates on its speed, drive time and the distance it's travelled.

Find your Car 

Struggling to find where you parked your car? Not anymore! With the Kia Connect App, you're always able to know exactly where your car is parked, and even find your way back to it using Google Maps and augmented reality. 

Favourite Destinations and Send to Car 

Gone are the days searching frequent locations in Google Maps. Kia Connect will recognise favourite locations and note this for future journeys. During your travels, it will also alert you when you're near a speed camera.
