Sohail Khan - A Commitment to Sustainability
Under Managing Director Sohail Khan, Stockton Kia has taken a bold step toward sustainability with a groundbreaking solar power initiative, becoming the first Kia dealership in the UK to adopt renewable energy at this scale.
The installation will generate 720,000 kWh annually, powering the entire site, including the showroom, workshop, and business units. Sohail emphasized the importance of sustainability, stating, "With solar power and battery storage, we’ll produce clean, green energy to power the entire site."
This initiative aligns Stockton Kia with Kia’s leadership in the EV market, alongside award-winning models like the EV9, EV6, and EV3. By partnering with local installers, the project strengthens the dealership’s role as a leader in eco-conscious practices, paving the way for a greener future.

Carrying Forward a Legacy of Giving
Stockton Kia’s Managing Director, Sohail Khan, is continuing the incredible humanitarian work started by his late father, Dr. Nas Khan, who helped rebuild a village in Rahim Yar Khan after the devastating Pakistan floods. Inspired by this legacy, Sohail has taken the initiative further with the creation of a smart village, focused on providing essential resources to communities in need.
In 2023, he set an ambitious goal to raise £35,000 in support of Human Appeal UK, funding a fully integrated water, health, and food security program for at least 1,000 people in Tharparkar, Pakistan.
With the help of Stockton Kia, Iron City Motorcycles, the Emaan Foundation, and a series of fundraising events—including a Charity Golf Day, sponsored Tough Mudder race, and business event donations—the target was not only met but exceeded.
Thanks to these efforts, the Clean Water Project is now underway, featuring an advanced solar-powered well capable of pumping 10,000 gallons of water every 45 minutes. This system will provide 24/7 access to clean water for drinking, domestic use, and livestock, transforming daily life for the local community.
