The differences between Kia Approved and Kia Assured are small, but they’re not to be confused with one another.

What is Kia Approved?

Kia Approved is a support package hand crafted by Kia, it gives customers the benefits of purchasing a nearly new car whilst giving them peace of mind. 

Including being hand-picked by Kia for the package, all Kia Approved cars come with the following:

• Hand-picked by Kia 
• Full 7-year warranty from the day you drive away
• 2-year RAC European Roadside Assistance 
• Free drive-away insurance 
• One-year free excess return up to £250 
• Perfect mechanical condition with multi-point check by Kia technicians 
• First MOT cover (up to £1,000) 
• HPI checked by Kia UK 
• Accident aftercare 

What is Kia Assured?

Kia Assured is an optional benefit package available to purchase when you’re about to drive away in your new car. This package is for dealer-sourced used Kia cars only. 

Another package hand-picked by Kia, it includes the following:

• Sourced by Kia dealers
• Balance of 7-year warranty with optional warranty extension 
• Optional roadside assistance from Call Assist 
• Free drive-away insurance 
• One-year free Excess Return worth up to £250 
• Quality checked by Kia dealer
• Optional first MOT test cover (up to £1,000) 
• HPI or Experian checked by Kia dealer 
• Accident Aftercare 

There is also a smaller third package available called Kia Assured Used. 

What is Kia Assured Used? 

Kia Assured Used is an optional benefit package available to purchase when you’re about to drive away in a car that isn’t the Kia brand, but will still give you the peace of mind. 

The Kia Assured Used package includes the following:

• Sourced by Kia dealers 
• Optional warranty extension 
• Optional roadside assistance from Call Assist 
• Quality checked by Kia dealer 
• Optional first MOT cover (up to £1,000) 
• HPI or Experian checked by Kia dealer
