The Clean Water Project | Stockton Kia
Opus Motor Groups (Stockton Kia) is partnering with The Emaan Foundation to help the Human Appeal raise money for The Clean Water Project.
The Clean Water Project focuses on providing deprived areas with clean, safe drinking water, as well as increasing the amount of sanitation and hygiene facilities available. The project is essential to improving the quality of life for so many people in the areas that the charity is working with, hoping to cut the number of preventable deaths and give residents a longer, happier life.
Did you know that one of the villages included in this project hasn't had clean water in almost 200 years? Opus Motor Groups would love to help change that.
The goal of the project is to fundraise for an integrated water pump system which will provide both clean water and hydraulic power to the area, this will allow for street lights and other amenities to be installed into the area. Through this, lives are saved and the village can break free from the devastating cycle of poverty.
Stockton Kia hopes to fundraise over £35,000 by October to give those in need the opportunity to live a more sanitary life, giving adults and children the opportunity for work and education, as well as grow the community further.
Did you know that £35 can give someone clean water... for life?
Following the work of our Director's founder, Dr Nas Khan, who worked tirelessly to help during the floods of Pakistan and build a smart village, Opus Motor Groups are carrying on his legacy and dedicating our time and efforts to help the area further. This new village will be dedicated to Dr Nas Khan, Noorhussain and Noordad, as well as many other members of the families who have donated £500 or more. We are planning to install plaques in the area in their honours.
Stockton Kia are hoping that we can come together to help make a truly life changing decision. Many of our staff are taking part in multiple charity events, and we will be keeping you all updated on our social media when these take place - keep an eye out!
