First Handover of an All-New Kia Sorento
Today at Stockton Kia we have delivered our first All-New Kia Sorento 4. In stunning 'Mineral Blue' metallic paint, this eco hybrid is ready to take on anything. Our customer travelled from Leeds, West Yorkshire, to pick up her seven-seater SUV. As we offer part exchange, she drove her Kia Sportage GT-Line up to the North East for the last time. We want to congratulate Beverley on the the upgrade of her Kia and wish her all the best.
Kia's only seven-seater SUV has a brand-new powertrain added to its lineup. The All-New Kia Sorento now comes as a 1.6 turbocharged petrol self-charging hybrid. This hybrid engine creates the perfect balance between fuel efficiency and low emissions without losing any excitement. Customers can also purchase the 2.2 diesel engine that is available. The 2.2 diesel engine has a 8 speed dual clutch transmission and the 1.6 turbocharged self charging hybrid has a 6 speed automatic transmission.
The All-New Kia Sorento Hybrid is made up of a petrol engine along with an electric motor. The hybrid system sees the switch between petrol and electric when needed or a combination of both. The Regenerative Braking System is when kinetic energy is converted to recharge the battery. This is how emissions are greatly reduced. Owners will benefit from Kia's Industry Leading 7 Years / 100,000 Mile Warranty.
